The author

Chris Sacchinelli

In the early 2010s, Chris bootstrapped and exited a handful of seven- and eight-figure businesses. Those exits taught him what most founders only learn the hard way — success doesn't always feel successful. He had wealth on paper, but not ownership in practice.

So he stepped back. Slowed down. And started rebuilding — not for speed this time, but for simplicity, profitability, and endurance.

Over the past decade he has quietly constructed Simple Holdings, a long-term holding company designed to build, buy, and back Ownable businesses across the Main Street economy.

§ The obsession

Building systems that make small businesses ownable, process-driven, and profit-led — a business so valuable anyone would want to buy it, so profitable you'll never sell.

The biggest opportunity in business today isn't the next startup trend — it's stabilizing the backbone of the economy: the 36 million small and midsize businesses that create the jobs, support the communities, and quietly hold Main Street together.

The mission now: bring the sophistication of private equity to the soul of small business.
